Our @UKRI_News funded ERC REFRESH programme is progressing well. Chalk stream isotope dosing experiment complete, clay stream nearly complete with help from our 1st PhD student from @durhamUni Matt McCormack. Now setting up our peat experiment with kind permission from @BannauB

And that's a wrap on our @ERC_Research REFRESH programme 2nd experiment. A very different environment than the chalk stream in our 1st expt. but nonetheless with wonderful biota: Beautiful Demoiselle damselflies (M+F), and the native freshwater limpet Ancylus fluviatilis.

QUANTUM freshwaters continues with its upscaled national sampling from early morning to sunset in Wales @pj13302 & @AnaCastroCaste. Grateful for the pleasant temperatures ~17-18oC. Hills in shades of green revealing their land use.
