And the amazing thing is... MeanFi interfaces with our favorite tight-binding Python package: Kwant! You can use Kwant to define your system and analyze the groundstate solution. ✨ kwant-project.org

Last week our CAT meowed on arxiv 😸 We discovered that particles turn clockwise without scattering into each other at junctions of 3 superconductors. That 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 is as if three rivers flowed through each other at a meeting point.

BTW, this is @JohannaZijd's first manuscript! We celebrated all these pretty figures with a cake of Fig 8a.

What if there is an obstacle in the middle of the table? Does the Majorana ball notice it? YES!

How good are you at billards? What if we make it as quantum as it can get? Rather than a Christmas gift, Quantum Tinkerers bring you a challenge for the holidays. Play Majorana billards! 🎄

Why? Because Majoranas live on the edge. However! The Majorana ball still moves as if it were a classical ball: see here our Majorana scars!

In a regular billiard we know exactly how a normal ball bounces around, but what if we make the whole billiard table a topological superconductor: Majorana billiards? The challenge is that the Majorana 'ball' disappears in the middle of the table, and appears at the other end.
