Exactly. It isn't even empathy, I'd argue. Understanding psychologically why they are who they are and do what they do is not stressful, especially when you withhold your bias. Your bias is what makes you think you can fix or change them. Trying to fix or change them is the work that burns you out. Realizing you can't is the final straw that hurts.

Tu problema es que eres un arrogante egocéntrico que piensa que, por ser latinos, no sabemos sobre historia. Tú mismo dijiste que gracias a la colonización, nos "volvimos gente muy competente": esto es una reducción a lo absurdo de la capacidad y tecnología que tenían en los imperios y grandes pueblos. Hablas como si la colonización fuera hacerle un puto favor a todos estos pueblos. Esto es tan estúpido como decir: sé que gracias a ti murió del 70 al 90% de toda la población, pero al menos tenemos escuelas. Dices LITERALMENTE "ellos eran tribus y la mitad nómadas": esto es otra SOBERANA ESTUPIDEZ y una mentira flagrante. La América precolombina era gigantescamente diversa. Había desde grupos nómadas pequeños hasta imperios enormes con ciudades, agricultura intensiva, sistemas políticos complejos y millones de habitantes. Imperios centralizados como el Imperio mexica o el Imperio inca. Grandes ciudades como Tenochtitlan (hasta existen cartas de los propios españoles asombrados por su tamaño y organización), civilizaciones urbanas como los mayas y hasta confederaciones y sociedades complejas. Y esa tontería de "les dejamos una lengua": en todo el continente, antes de la colonización, hubo más de 1500 idiomas distintos que en su gran mayoría fueron extinguidos gracias a las enfermedades que trajeron de España. Y finalmente ahora haces mención a la "leyenda negra española". Está documentado y estudiado todo lo que pasó en la época de la colonización, tanto lo bueno como lo malo. Pero no podemos negar o inventarnos la historia simplemente por nuestro estúpido ego. Yo sé perfectamente sobre la existencia de la "leyenda negra española", creada por los rivales de España, como Inglaterra o Países Bajos, para generar una mala imagen y utilizarla como propaganda. La exageración es real, pero todo lo malo que pasó en la colonización también es real. Lo que molesta es que se menosprecie la historia y se glorifique lo que hizo España. Cuando la verdad es más cruda y no tan glamurosa. España sí hizo muchas cosas malas, pero eso no quiere decir que todo fue malo. Pero lo que no podemos hacer es negar la historia.
