These are two completely different routes/concepts so timing is going to be different. You can tell by Meyers’ initial stem. 1st video he releases inside then gets vertical before breaking on the crosser. 2nd is a straight vertical release before breaking on the In/Dig.

Last thing I'll say about this play: here's a very similar play-action design from last season. Look at the difference in Meyers's route. No wasted movement. No hop-step/stutter at the top. Just throttle down on the vertical stem and break. Timing is everything. #Patriots

@Nate_Tice Admittedly haven’t watched Wilson at all this season. Is he beyond saving? Mike LaFleur is a good coach but wondering if there’s a coach out there who’s a better match for Wilson to potentially maximize his talents.

this is where I’m at. I still had a first round grade on Wilson. But he was my QB4 and a clear tier lower than Fields and Lawrence to me (and I’m on record of saying this).
J Moyer@JMoyerFB

It’s not revisionist history to say the Zach Wilson pick was questionable the day it was made. I’m just a dude watching film on the internet and I graded him well behind Fields and Lawrence, had him ranked as my #4 QB. My Q has always been why he was such a lock at 2?

@Nate_Tice Even as a Pats fan it’s been fun to watch Allen put it all together these last couple years. One of the best in the game right now. Has uncanny ability and is a guy that’s easy to root for.

Look at Josh Allen on every part of this play. Uses his eyes to hold the Safety just enough. Throws the ball right as Diggs is even with the defender. Then gets the ball up and down and puts it right on the money. Oh and does this with a pass rush bearing down. Top tier stuff.

🚨QBs🚨 Clip 1: Watch Mac Jones control the FS to guarantee 1️⃣on1️⃣ coverage for Agholor. Clip 2: Flip side, Hoyer stares down target allowing MLB to get in the throwing lane. Make life easier by manipulating the defense with your 👀‼️

Solid base. But the ball almost comes full circle before he releases. Haven’t watched much of his #Jets film - but if he’s rushing his throws this elongated motion could cause his upper half to become out of sync with his lower half.

Zach Wilson showed elite short/intermediate accuracy in college. Speed outs, mesh concepts, curls outside the numbers. He hit them all and with GREAT ball placement. Going through some mental issues rn. Bye has come at a great week. The upswing is coming #Jets

FOOTBALL: Make it a 10-game winning streak as Bentley wins at Saint Anselm, 34-21! Sturm threw for 3 TDs and ran for a clinching score to lead the Falcons. #BentleyU #BeAForce #NE10Embrace

NFL rookie QBs historically struggle. What are realistic expectations for Mac Jones? I looked at every season started by a rookie quarterback in NFL history to get some answers. Here’s what the past tells us we might expect for the Patriots rookie providencejournal.com/story/sports/n…

Very excited about something we are launching this season at @BloggingTheBoys with the incomparable @MarkSchofield. Dropping soon on our YouTube Channel and the site. All I'll say is that if you like Dak Prescott #content you are going to find it rather enjoyable.

The @TomBrady Front Side Tom’s cue when he squares up to the target is to bring his chest to his front side hand and actually touch his front side hand to his throwing shoulder. It’s not for everyone, but it’s what works for him!
