@Quasarstaking I don’t get the « unfavorable terms for Osmo holders » what did they expect? Token price is already failing and could be bellow buying price in a few months. Maybe it’s a steal and ATOM holders are paying to high considering what it will be a 6 months / 1 year

New drama surrounding Osmosis deal 👀 Osmosis recently came up with a proposal to migrate to Cosmos (forum.cosmos.network/t/proposal-dra…), which was initially received with great positivity, since its own DEX for Space is a very important and necessary part for future development. But in the process of discussing the proposal, a number of unpleasant circumstances came to light👇 • the deal price is $23 million • conversion of the $OSMO token to $ATOM on very unfavorable terms for $OSMO holders • the prospects for DEX's future development are unclear, as the Osmosis team is leaving the project As a validator, we will wait for a more structured proposal to make a final decision, because the Cosmos really needs its own DEX and Osmosis is a great product, but so far this proposal does not look optimal and contains a lot of nuances.

@Quasarstaking Thanks for the insight – as #63 with 556k $ATOM, your vote carries weight. Makes sense to lean NO until we see a revised draft with better terms and clear fee/revenue paths. If it improves, e.g., fairer OSMO conversion + guaranteed Hub treasury accrual, could that flip to YES?

@stetun3 We are the 63th atm (556,5k $ATOM) and now it looks more like “NO” on this proposal, but we are waiting for a better structured proposal

@Quasarstaking Agree – more clarity needed on price, conversion rates, and team transition. The buzz for a native DEX on Hub is solid, and concerns are fair. A well-structured merger could benefit both: - Hub gains an active DEX for trading activity, IBC traffic, and fees to ATOM stakers/treasury (as draft outlines with governance revenue). - Osmosis gets stronger security, governance support, and a path forward. We need each other long-term. Hoping for updated prop with clear fee estimates and post-merger plans. What's your validator threshold to support? ⚛️

@QCEeOAKsJyscJRw @Quasarstaking OSMO holders absolutely want this to go through, otherwise their investment goes to zero. Cosmos Hub investors probably need this to go through too, or the last app of the Cosmos ecosystem dies, probably along with Cosmos in general.

@Quasarstaking If the Osmosis team made a good product, why are they leaving? I think they're unsure of Osmosis's future and just want to sell it for a higher price. At first, they were actively selling Osmosis, but now that the price is at rock bottom, they're selling Osmosis.
