I applaud your actions. But just an observation: BE drivers went on strike a few years ago seeking better pay. The corporate management left the drivers out on strike for several weeks. In the end, the drivers went back to work on worse terms than they had before the strike. Demoralised, I would say. I am not making excuses for the actions of the driver, but I have not forgotten that strike.

Bus driver in Galway today in a raised voice to a pensioner: "I know you think you can get on and off all you like with your travel card, which you're entitled to, and you can complain all you like in the office..." Went on and on until he was told to shut the fuck up by me.
