Development Update Gemini is now integrated as a new AI model for OpenQASM 3.0 generation within the Qubix dApp. Expanding model support is another step toward making quantum development more accessible, flexible, and reliable.

Depends what you mean: Explain results, yes. After a job runs on real hardware, the AI turns the raw histogram into a plain language answer. Read your existing Qiskit code, not today. Qubix works the other way, you describe the problem in plain language and the AI writes the circuit. No "paste your code" step. Suggest optimizations, not exposed yet. The transpiler optimizes circuits automatically, but we don't surface AI code suggestions. On the roadmap. If we've misread your question, feel free to explain in more detail.

@PerkinsFund ETA: 2040, right after the other 2,999,999 qubits show up :) 1024-bit. Shor needs 2n+3 = 2,051 logical qubits, approximately 2–3m physical. Best today, 1,121–1,225, noisy, no error correction, so 2,000x short. IBM roadmap: 2,000 logical qubits not until 2033.

Yes, real quantum computing: the circuits run on actual QPUs, not simulators. The flow is simple. You describe what you want in plain English, or any language, AI compiles it to OpenQASM, and our transpiler maps that to the target QPU’s native gate set. From there, it runs on real hardware, and you get the results and histogram back. We handle the whole path, so you never touch Qiskit or design a circuit yourself.

Over the coming days: • We will publish an article answering many of the key questions about Qubix, our vision, and where we’re headed. • We will open applications for the Qubix dApp Beta. Testing will be limited while we refine the platform and resolve issues ahead of the public release. • Once applications close, we will begin onboarding accepted testers and rolling out Beta access in phases.
