Japanese devs explain why adding offline support to live-service games after shutdown is harder than most gamers think.
The discussion started again due to a fan-made offline version of Square Enix’s NieR Re[in]carnation.
Programmer Itchie said: “Making it technically work and making it actually enjoyable as a game are different things.”
He added: “There is a strong risk that the game will end up playable but not entertaining, or that it will simply fall apart as a game.”

Battlefield playerbase seething they can't spam revive anymore is way too funny, you can't trust them to use defibs correctly, they just cause more deaths on their own team than that they kill the enemy. That's the harsh truth

Defib has been nerfed in labs: it now has 3 charges only. They refill quite quickly, but you are no longer able to res half of your team in 10 seconds.
