Save the date. I will be back at Timucuan Arts Foundation this time as the Feature Poet on Sunday, October 20 at 7:30 pm. The show runs until 9 o'clock with an open mic segment after my performance. I will be performing poems in English, Jamaican Patois, and French.

The Morning After Helene Sun is shining again. We have a partly cloudy weather forecast. It's a beautiful morning, and we're safe here in Central Florida. Praying for those along the coast. #Helene

Hurricane Helene seems to have passed over Florida now. I went to sleep when the wind started howling, after the rain started falling. It's all quiet now. Daylight will tell in the aftermath what Helene left in her trail. Prayers for the Westcoast and those directly hit. #helene
