We are delighted to welcome Mr Jack Knight to Queen's as our new Head of Hockey. Mr Knight joins us from @ArdinglyCollege, West Sussex, where he has been heavily involved in the development of their hockey programme. He plays National League hockey for @BrightonHockey.

Arthur (Year 7) is making a name for himself on the football pitch. A striker for @SaintsSouthWest U12s in the Junior Premier League, he is currently the league's third highest scorer in England with ten goals in four matches.

It's a rather soggy afternoon for our final 1st XV match before Half Term as we welcome our neighours @KingsTaunton to Queen's.

More sporting success ... Ella (Year 12) was on top form at the Taunton Vale Pony Club Hunter Trials. Competing in the 90cm Open class, she finished second out of 56 riders ... a great achievement!

Congratulations to Year 11 pupil Emily (left) and Rebecca, who have been selected for the @Somerset_Hockey U17 squad. Both girls play for our 1st XI.

We're delighted to welcome schools from across the region to the @iapsuksport Hockey U11s Qualifier today. Good luck to our Queen's squad, who are pictured ahead of their opening game. It promises to be a fantastic day!

It's a big day for sport here tomorrow as we host the @iapsuksport U11s Hockey Qualifier with schools from across the region taking part. The action gets under way at 10am - when Queen's play their first game - and spectators are welcome.

Glorious weather for our youngest rugby and hockey players this afternoon as they took on @wellingtonsch1 Prep.

The netball girls played in the U14 County Tournament at King’s College this morning. They played six matches in a round robin that all ended in close results and we came fourth in the county! Well done to all the girls who put in superb effort throughout the morning.

There's some excellent hockey action on the Astro this afternoon as the 1st XI host our neighbours from @tauntonsports.

Tough league game tonight for the Queen’s basketball team up against the league leaders, West Buckland. Great defence to keep the score a very respectable 27-45. Well done, boys.

House hockey is off due to today’s torrential rain but rugby is on for all age groups.

We're so disappointed - but not surprised - that this morning's torrential rain has forced the cancellation of our Under 11s Hockey Tournament. On a brighter note, we can still look forward to staging the @iapsuksport U11s Qualifier here at Queen's on Friday, October 15th.
