I just got kicked out of the Howard Zinn book fair, which is a public event at the taxpayer funded @OfficialCCSF. I guy came in with picture of me on his phone and told me to leave. My hat, apparently, was not a good enough disguise. But I had already made the rounds and gotten all their zines and then recorded the trans liberation session so whatever. Seems like if I can get kicked out of events, they aren’t really public huh? I oddly thought this one would be easy because it was at a taxpayer funded college. Oh well.

Normatively means the cultural norms that uphold capitalism.
It’s not about being straight or gay, trans or cis as much as it is about maintaining the gender binary. To queer marxists, straight means “normal” or “not queer.”

'Man' and 'Woman', as categories, are seen as Capitalist Labour Roles.
Man: Public Sphere, Earn Money, Gain Power, Own Property.
Woman: Unpaid Care Work in the Private Sphere, Birth/Raise the next generation of Labour, Become 'Property' through the transaction of Marriage.
Non-Binary is a rejection of these roles—a rejection of the expectations assigned to biological difference that create hierarchy.
