@yenthusiastx Exactly! We’ve been very insistent on making it clear that Sapkowski has always been against AI, he made that very clear during his recent UK tour. Thank you for sharing this!

sapko’s agent pushing for an ai translation for the spanish editions is so baffling to me when sapko himself doesn’t even like it

Los libros de 'La Saga de Geralt de Rivia' ('The Witcher', para los recién llegados) llevan tres años sin reeditarse en España, y esta es la razón: open.substack.com/pub/plumaespad…

I wasn't aware of this situation, but this is awful. I really hope that this can be resolved as Spanish readers of The Witcher deserve proper translation and not potentially done with AI just because apparently Mr. Sapkowski's agent is blocking it even though author said yes.
