Explaining Lootboxes, Gold, and Silver Rewards As you already know, we are introducing a fully-fledged RPG system to our questing platform. To mine quests more efficiently, users need to constantly upgrade their characters and this is done through items found in lootboxes. 📦 How valuable are the Lootboxes? Before launch, users can earn 6 types of boxes, ranging from Common to Mythical. Common boxes can be bought with Gold after launch and finding high-rarity items is based on luck. All other boxes (Uncommon → Mythical) are limited edition and cannot be purchased — they can only be earned by participating in events and they guarantee an item of the same rarity as the box. Their value starts at $1 for a Common box and can reach $300–400 for a Mythical box. This value is backed by the fact that equipping higher-tier items allows users to mine more efficiently and claim a bigger share of rewards. 🪙 How valuable are Gold and Silver? After launch: Gold can only enter the system by burning QFT. When QFT is burned for Gold, it is permanently gone, the team does not receive it. (This makes QFT a heavily deflationary asset.) The only other ways to obtain Gold are by owning Founder NFTs or participating in events, where it is distributed alongside lootboxes. Gold is the primary currency: used to buy Common boxes, trade on the marketplace, and exchange for Silver. Can be also exchanged for QFT to extract value after using the platform.
