Today we marked the start of Anti-Bullying week with Odd Socks Day! The school was flooded with colourful feet, to celebrate what makes us unique! Thank you to all who supported the day & contributed their odd socks to our beautiful garland! #AntiBullyingWeek #OddSocksDay

Today we are celebrating Reuben and Austin! On Saturday they finished their play off final for Callington Colts (under8’s) winning their game 8-1. A great achievement and brilliant team effort! Congratulations Reuben and Austin! #BringTalent

Finishing our amazing Tundra science adventure with a huge THANK YOU to our friends Mr Petherick and Mrs Davis-Butler from Callington Community College! Tundra had a fantastic time and we can't wait to welcome you back in June for Whooper and July for Bewick!

Next up, Tundra class took a look at pond water on slides and in petri dishes to look at microbes! They were taken on a bear hunt looking for water bears (or tardigrades to give them their proper name!)

Whooper class started their week by getting stuck into their new Talk for Writing and shared reading text 'The Wild Robot'. They enjoyed dressing up as robots for the day, starting the text and colouring their own robot! #bringreading #bringimmersivelearning

Tundra Class have had a wonderful time this morning as we were visited by our friends from Callington College. Mr Petherick & Mrs Davis-Butler brought a raft of equipment with them & the children started their morning looking at their own hairs under a microscope! More to follow!

A record number of our children took part in the Cross Country League races this year! 13 received medals for taking part in at least 3 of the races & 2 qualified for the Newquay finals in the last week of term! Gracie & James did amazingly well, coming 33rd & 73rd respectively!

On Thursday it was the turn of our Key Stage 1 children, who took on target skills! The team tackled a variety of sporting skills with determination and confidence and came home in third place! As you can see, they were very proud of their position!

Today we are celebrating James! Last week he won man of the match in his first ever rugby game for Liskeard Looe! Congratulations James! #bringtalent #bringsport

Last week saw sporting victories at Quethiock! The week started with our KS2 Tag Rugby competition. The team, cheered on by their coach Mr Duffy, played brilliantly and came home in second place! Great work team! #bringteamwork #bringsport

Today our children took home an easter egg each, donated by a number of parents within our school community! We are so grateful for their kindness and generosity!

This half term our Mini Swans have been reading 'Jasper's Beanstalk' and have created their very own living display!

Last week, Tundra class went on a Woodland Adventure with Outdoor Dave, learning about the ancient art of fire lighting, as well as woodland bushcraft techniques such as water filtering and shelter building!
