A general modern theme in modpacks is the concept of balance. Sadly, I think servers have caused pack balance to become focused around ensuring that a server based on the pack has some longevity. This makes the packs a massive grind. You get deliberate time sinks, arbitrary goals

Just took a look at @montoya_test video about guilded. youtube.com/watch?v=5z0k6y… Looks like the @teamguilded have done a great job of making a decent discord replacement focused on gamers. Would love to see how this scales up though to larger communities. So many possibilities.

@Quetzi @voxcpw @Hanse00 Usually these kinds of things only happen for a small portion of ICE cars and aren't the result of cost-cutting, but more a manufacturing error.

@voxcpw @Hanse00 To be fair here, ICE cars get recalled for defective parts all the time post-purchase. Usually they get swapped out at next service with little to no impact on the buyer. I don’t see how this is that much different to the faulty handbrake that Ford put on my Mondeo in 2003.
