My stance on Bernardo is simple: he’s experienced, versatile and never injured. Good cover for Pedri, a huge upgrade on Casado. If the finances make sense, why not?

I don’t know whether this is exactly a hot take, but France’s World Cup squad isn’t that great imo. The attack, yes, ridiculous depth. But balance is always the concern. As for the rest, the CBs aside (Upa/Saliba), it’s pretty meh.
