This standoff happened on Goya Parkway in South Sacramento. A barricaded parolee-at-large named Austin Carter fled into a garage with a gun and a knife. The sheriff's department deployed a drone rigged with a heavy magnet to yank the knife out of his hand while he lay on a mattress.
