and maybe I’m complaining too much but I was genuinely confused by IU’s hair looking messy in some scenes. It didn’t seem intentional or plot related at all, so the fact that it still made it into the final cut just adds to why the whole production doesn’t feel solid to me

That’s why the acting criticism felt like a stretch to me. Maybe yes BWS could’ve been better in some parts but he was still good, IU’s micro expressions n nuanced acting were honestly really good. Their chemistry was there, the camerawork/editing just made some scenes awkward

People keep saying Perfect Crown was perfectly written until ep 7-8 but honestly I’ve felt something was off with this project since the beginning 😭 the story itself was interesting at first, but the overall production never felt solid to me
