just listened to tablo’s podcast latest episode and he said something super interesting about stanning a group (in that case bts obviously), when you reach a certain age and don’t feel like it fits your age ‘standards’ so to say. i thought it was worth sharing his pov here (putting the link to the ep in reply) someone actually asked him like “hey i stan this group of seven boys from korea while i am 36 and feel judged by my coworkers whenever i play this group on my playlist, get excited for comebacks” etc and he basically said, that first of all there’s a lot of things he enjoys that are not the typical stuff a person of his age would enjoy lmao, like the ppl his age he knows collect stuff like wine, cigares, golf clubs and so on. in comparison, stanning a group with “breathing individuals with souls, artistry, choreographies, dreams and passions, story arcs,” is much better (and cost much less money), than enjoying collecting expensive stuff like wine etc. he also added “golf clubs don’t do comeback shows on netflix” 😭 but yeah i think it’s a nice way to put things and i couldn’t agree more. thank you tablo 👍 do and enjoy whatever tf you want regardless your age

The first language I was taught and spoke as a child was English. Hence, my mother tongue is English. I grew up speaking English. So did my parents. My grandparents. Their parents before them. What you probably wanted to know is what other languages I speak. Which I do. I speak four. Malay, Tamil and mandarin. Fluent in all. Although I learnt all 4 at about the same time, the other 3 are my second language. English is my first. As per definition. So. Effective 1 April 2026, the initiative extends fuel support beyond the government’s Budi Madani subsidy, with no fixed quota and coverage designed to support typical household fuel usage. The subsidy is integrated directly into the TNG eWallet via its BUDI95 feature, allowing employees to refuel and manage their subsidy seamlessly without any claims process. The programme covers all employees across its subsidiaries, including contract staff and interns, and is part of the company’s Care+ Initiatives aimed at easing daily commuting costs amid rising living expenses. In addition to the petrol subsidy, employees continue to benefit from flexible working arrangements, Remote+ (work-from-anywhere arrangements), existing mileage claims for work-related travel, as well as a fixed monthly allowance that covers public transport through My50 passes, which are also accessible within the TNG eWallet. Chief Executive Officer Alan Ni said, “Our responsibility as a company goes beyond building products for millions of Malaysians. It extends to taking care of the people who build those products every day.” He added that when daily commute becomes a growing concern, companies should step forward and act, with the initiative focused on providing practical and meaningful support.
