@s7shin @QuizmasterKevin the only advantage you have is just being able to use different pokemon faster but if youre serious about competitive, you would either have pokemon home from other games anyway to freely swap out pokemon once you hit the 30 cap which is already a lot of pke' to swap around.

I’m really excited about this idea I’ve been messing around with no clue if it’ll actually work. I don’t really know much about Pokémon yet, I’ll have to learn more as I go. It’s still rough, but I think it could turn into something fun. Just gotta see if my mate likes it too.

P2w would be if you can only get mega Kang if you swipe your debit card, or if it was locked exclusively behind the premium BP. Paying to speed up progression is fair game

@SapphireHeartSK Space also matters a lot since you eventually need more than 30 slots, with a meta that's ever changing and different regulations allowing/not allowing certain pokemon

Man the move animation glow up in Champions looks insane Pokemon using animations outside of the battle ones? And the cameras? The IMPACT SHAKE?? Yeah I'm sold this is what I've always wanted

@AlexSlider44 @OddishHime Only to then make GS, which isn't BAD mind you, but you can definitely tell which of the games were made when they decided to be more kid friendly in the franchise and when they were proper challenging, for better and worse (though GS wins in the OST department)

@OddishHime I love the first game but I'll always admit it is definitely confusing with a lot of their decisions on it (and how glad I am SoA fixed a lot of the problems)

@Sheeshnumerouno @spinelessaisha Also, they give out free 5*s every now and again in HSR/ZZZ, I don't recall them doing that in genshin like ever One of the best single target damage units and best shielders were also free in HSR But more than anything is that HSR/ZZZ let's you skip event/story dialogue

@Sheeshnumerouno @spinelessaisha I wouldn't necessarily say the rewards are better per se, but the events for example are much easier to do imo and takes less time too, also the character and weapon pulling (even as f2p) is abysmally not favored for you in genshin but are in HSR/ZZZ

@Sheeshnumerouno @spinelessaisha Where my issues lie with genshin is that it tried really hard to be the gacha version of BoTW in terms of story quality and world, the problem is that EVERY aspect of world traversal is tied to stamina, and upgrading stamina is a chore and a half, HSR and ZZZ don't have stamina

@Sheeshnumerouno @spinelessaisha really up to personal preference Genshin favors your team to be elemental reactions/same element in team but a unit boosts said element HSR is basically buffing your main attacker and putting on auto lmao ZZZ has the highest skill cap, where dodge/counter/assist is prioritized
