So, what's next? The primary election is one month away. Then the primary runoff in August and the general election in November. And the Legislature adopted a resolution Thursday setting deadlines for the 61st Legislature, that begins in January.

The Senate has sent just two bills over to the House for its consideration so far today. It is now taking up the CCR for SB2, wind turbine setbacks, which would go to the House for consideration. The chambers can meet as late as they need to get their work done today...

Meanwhile, the Senate continues to work its way through bills. An effort to amend HJR1077, which was once one of the TSET state question bills, failed when the Senate voted not to suspend rules to allow the bill to be heard. The new language proposed the Medicaid state question.

An attempt already has been made to pull another bill out of committee and to the floor, HB4422. The motion was ruled out of order. It could be submitted in writing and it would be up to the floor leader to decide whether to consider it. I warned you: Interesting!

Hey early birds, night owls and the rest of you who just fly through the day! You know how I said the Senate could revise its agenda. The Senate revised its agenda.
