@CarolineTheBug Correction: It was showed that McDonald's coffee was being served at least 11°C (20°F) higher than any other restaurant. At 88°C (the upper bounds of what McDonald's franchises required the coffee to be held at), coffee can produce 3rd degree burns in 3 secs.
Currently binging @LLEPodcast just got to episode 18 about dating in science and @TomLumPerson brought up relative dating...do I even need to make the joke?
just got back from seeing Hadestown @AltriaTheaterVA . It was a fantastic show. And a huge shout out to the random stranger that gave my friend and I ground floor tickets during intermission. That was a wonderful way to experience, starting up top and then going down below.
@PodcastLTF it's always a good episode when I get shouted out at the end. And yes, I ABSOLUTELY should have added a real one in the mix to the ones I sent to @MattColeComedy. Maybe something from the Figure 1 app...next time.
You know that feeling when there's a scene you really want to happen, and the creators reward you by giving you exactly what you want? Don't forget to thank them for that.
In related news, thank you @weopenat6 for the penultimate part of your last episode.
@Quotes_Ellis Once we had to redo an episode because the file got corrupted. And it worked because I waited 2 months while Tim drank heavily and forgot everything. Hurray for booze!
Recently listened to the episode of @PodcastLTF that came out on 24 Jan. So I went back to the Elliott Rodgers episode and realized that Tim had mentioned the Canadian guy. Drinking really does affect memory.
Things I didn't know I had an opinion until I heard it on a podcast. Part 1 of Infinity:
A hotdog is absolutely a sandwich, and I will debate Leif, older Leif and even Older Leif about that until the stars burn out.
