By far the most Overhyped thing about this game, it relies on mid areas that just serve as connection points darkroot/valley of drakes and it stops giving a shit after the first third of the game. its cute, but people act like its Super Metroid, when its not even Hollow knight

@shiraoreo @nothingbruv_ Yeah, i also have multiple runs where i went and did everything that came along my path. I also have about 400 Total, although that is only the recorded playtime on steam, i also have some more offline.

@QuriousEnt @nothingbruv_ My first playthrough was about 170 hours long (I don’t remember if that includes dlc or not) and my total playtime sits at around 400 hours. The reason why I took so long is not because I struggled a lot, but because I mainly just explored the map.

Not only is playtime a useless metric when it comes to understanding of gameplay, it also here is pretty low for a game that on average is 100+ hrs. My two playthroughs (in which second one I haven't even done dlc) is 500 hrs lol.

@nothingbruv_ My first playthrough, which i played singleplayer and at a slow pace was about 70 hours. I don't get where 150+ comes from. maybe my experience with the other games made me not struggle as much as the average player, but 150+ hours seems a bit much to me.

if all you want are cute reveals like this elevator, and a contiguous map where you can see how future/past landmakers all fit into a single space, DS3 & bloodborne do it better. if you want freedom of expression and non linearity DS2 and Demon's souls do it better
