HOW TO CREATE A STRONG INVOICE 1. Create a clear and specific item description Did you know just writing "art", "commission" or "drawing" can be disputed easily? If a client chooses the reason "Item Not As Described" and the description is ambiguous, it can be easily negated. Be as specific as possible. Try this instead: Custom Digital Illustration: Half-Body Character with Simple Background Key words to include ▸ Custom: This shows it will be made specifically for the buyer and cannot be resold or reused. This helps prove it is a service and not a product. ▸ Digital illustration: This makes it clear that the product type is not physical and cannot be misinterpreted. PayPal does not automatically assume you mean digital if you do not include it.
