@jakeyp0096 Shaman beat me too in just instant loss scenarios. Like Blazing into Raptor herald turn 1, then 4 mana dark gift divine shield windfury beast turn 2 was one of my losses. Literally just nothing to be done there.
Playoffs is done for me, I am out 0-2 as well as many other people who prepped very hard for this. Not sure if I could do anything differently. A lot of games decided by turns 1-4 with Vanessa, Shaman random minions and Dark Gift discovers. I played 9 games and only 1 was close.
@APreistMain Yeah, I went 3-6 overall. Only 1 loss was like a turn 7 game where opponent top decked a lethal to win. But all other 5 losses were just like Vanessa on 3, Shaman giant minion turn 1 and turn 2 into evolve, Warrior Dark Gift and stuff. There was no real games, all over so fast.
I don't care anymore, I'm just gonna crash out. Every stream you watch everyone is depressed and hates playing this game. Once playoffs is done I'm leaving.
Hearthstone is in a horrible state right now and for a while. Everything is random, there is no comeback potential without scamming, we are dead on turn 4 every other game for months, every game feels demoralizing and brain dead. Tired of pretending that 2025 was worse.
@ZeddyHS There is no year of hs where a 3 mana deal 20+ damage card if you have it in your mulligan would ever fly. Idk why everyone is so on the fence about it ngl.
Again I'm not advocating for this cards nerf... yet, but one thing that isn't talked about enough is that Lotus Troublemaker has effectively locked out slower decks of the meta. Even though something like Control Priest can deal with Shaman, they just die to the monkey.
@KaptKerr@PlayHearthstone So, 2025 was definitely a worse year for Hearthstone I think because they released 3 unplayable expansions in a row. They did this because in 2024 the power level was extremely unbalanced, so they tried to lower the power level. The last 3 years have been the worst ever for HS.
@KaptKerr@PlayHearthstone I've read your thread and I just want to say; yes the game is in a very bad state right now for a lot of the reasons you mentioned. I agree that random generation is through the roof right now, it feels much worse than previous years to me. I'll expand more in a reply to this.
My initial impressions tell me that Tolvir Hunter is probably the best deck with Monkey Rogue and Spell Shaman being ok, but mainly because of scam/broken play patterns that don't happen every game. Maybe in a few days people will switch back to old decks with a few new cards.
Well, so far I've been losing a lot with Rafaam Warlock, Soothsayer Priest and random Mug'Zee decks. I think it's time to stop with the meme decks and see what the actual good decks are now so I can prepare for playoffs. I think in a few days the meta will be settled.
🙌 Priest players rejoice! Our team has fixed and unbanned the Mind Sweeper card. However, due to a bugged interaction with Zee's Might Hero Power, we are banning Slagclaw until we can implement a fix.

It is a bit early to Compl4ne, but this pre-release brawl feels terrible with the all classes can use any card rule. Everyone is just playing the exact same 2 mana slop package with the Rogue monkey. There is way worse variety and no real archetypes, just slop decks.
