I came back to HS from a 3 month break about 30 days ago. I'm not really feeling this rotation and the Imbue Druid/ Casino Warrior meta kinda ruined the game for me again. I know there was just a balance patch but I just don't really care about it. More time away is needed.

I've been reflecting a lot and I've come to believe OTK decks don't deserve the hate. OTK players are just trying to win in an efficient way while solving a fun puzzle. What's wrong with that? The point of the game is to put your opponent's life down to zero

No Bear in the next Playoffs qualifier🫡 Lost a few games after I posted this yesterday and while I still had plenty of time to try again, I just couldn't be bothered to play more in this meta. Imbue Druid and Casino Warrior are the only decks in top Legend rn. 🤣

@buffetsalpha can be revived and copied a lot as well. Basically makes the board irrelevant for the rest of the game as early as turn 4 or 5

@QwarkHS Glad combat itself isn't even that powerful of a card. A 5 mana Dracorex isn't exactly game breaking. The endless 2 & 3 mana resummons is the bullshit part.

PLASE explain why the devs printed Barnes, nerfed it. Printed Chemical Spill, nerfed it. Now they print Gladitorial Combat and will need to nerf it.

If Gladiatorial Combat ever gets nerfed Warrior does have another summon a giant minion card for 5 mana from this expansion, even if it's way worse. They sure like giving Warrior these cards lately 😂

With all the mana cheat, card generation, board clears, life gain and otk removed; you have a hard time winning a game from behind with just playing minions and trading alone. Especially when going second and getting stuck taking unfavourable trades for a while.

I am getting the feeling since rotation that they lowered the flexibility/ agency in Hearthstone a little bit too much. It feels that there aren't many outs to play for from behind anymore and you are just stuck in an unwinnable position.

@gabyHS59 They reduced flexibility in the game as a whole. There will be more problems past the Imbue Druid nerfs because you cannot play to outs as much anymore in general due to weaker comeback mechanics and lethality from hand imo.

Current state of the game is terrible, 80% of the games I play are against druid, very VERY low decision making and the game is often decided before turn 4, litterally gambling. Immediate action has to be taken ngl or end of season is just heads or tails.

Its kind of crazy to me how the Druid colossal is 6 mana in a class with access to ramp and board buffs and the Priest one is 7 mana and usually just destroys itself.
