However, the outbreak of second revolution in Kiev in late 2013 set off a chain of events that changed the power structure, flipped Ukraine's foreign policies to a pro-Western stance, and led to an open conflict with Russia. You should know that at this point there were still millions of ethnic Russians living in Ukraine that wanted to remain on good terms with Russian Federation. Annexation of Crimea was the final nail in the coffin and after that it's just escalation after escalation.

@Volcomania17 @elonmusk Believe it or not but this war started because both sides hate each other to the bone and won't yield in the slightest. Read a bit about the Ukraine-Russia tensions since fall of Soviet Union in 1991. It became a military conflict in 2014 and a full blown war in 2022.

Why do they say Germany has fallen when all I see are zombie towns in the USA? Despite Russian-funded terror attacks in Germany ahead of the elections, it’s still pretty safe. But I wouldn’t expect any criticism of Russia from Putin’s loyal agents, Trump and Elon. After all, they’ll soon be extorting Ukraine for its minerals.
