Many families in our community are facing extra challenges meeting their basic needs because the federal government has paused SNAP benefits (food stamps) beginning November 1, 2025, due to the ongoing government shutdown. This disruption is hitting children, seniors, and people with disabilities especially hard, as many rely on these benefits for nutritious groceries each month. You are not alone - we are here to assist you with resources.
