We must reject all forms of prejudice in our society and everything that entails a divide. We must accede to a system where one is identified through the society he pays taxes to rather than a society he's said to have originated from which he adds little or no value to.

Bola Tinubu thinks he can buy the votes of such people? He travelled all the way from Edo State to Kano to welcome Sen. Kwankwaso into the ADC, lamenting the extreme tribalism and nepotism they are enduring in the South under Tinubu and the APC, while declaring his readiness to support anything that leads to Tinubu’s defeat in 2027. These are the kind of people Tinubu’s rice cannot buy!

Then do your insurance through an Islamic Insurance called Takaful. At the end of the year, there's what they call SURPLUS sharing where the Insurance company shares to its premium holders the surplus money after all claims. If you were in Nigeria, then I could recommend 1/

PLEASE LISTEN TO MALLAM So the regime actually planned to arrest the elder brother of Mallam Nasir @elrufai so he can be forced to negotiate? These people are worse than we thought. Just imagine this regime came in the 90s with no social media. It would have been another Idi-Amin. Damn #unmutedthepodcast #tegatalks

58,000 Americans died in Vietnam. Over 3,000,000 Vietnamese died. And for fifty years, American culture has centered the grief of the 58,000 while treating the 3,000,000 as a backdrop. As scenery. As context. As "the Vietnam War experience." They built a wall in Washington with American names on it. A beautiful wall. A solemn wall. Good. Mourn your dead. But understand what that wall does not say. It does not say why they died. It does not say what they were doing there. It does not say what was done in their name to the people whose country it actually was. It does not mention My Lai, where American soldiers massacred an entire village, old men, women, children, babies, and the officer who ordered it served three years of house arrest before being pardoned. Three years. House arrest. Pardoned. For five hundred people murdered in a ditch. It does not mention the 2.7 million acres of Vietnamese forest doused in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon disguised as herbicide, that is still deforming Vietnamese children today. Not in 1970. Not in 1985. Today. Children born in 2020 with bodies twisted by a war their grandparents fought. And the chemical companies that made it are still in business. Still profitable. Still un-prosecuted. And yet they send us human rights reports. They grade our democracy. They warn us about our behavior. The audacity is so enormous it becomes almost impressive. Almost.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth@SecWar

We will forever honor and remember the warriors of Vietnam. They wore the uniform. They fought valiantly. We will ALWAYS REMEMBER their sacrifice.

Unrelated but Standing on sand like this, you begin to realize something that shakes the heart. Science tells us that the stars and even the planets are more in number than every grain of sand on Earth. Every grain beneath us, in Sahara desert, Kalahari desert, Arabian desert, in the beaches, the seas, the oceans, every single grain of sand, yet still fewer than what Allah ﷻ has placed in the skies, just the observable universe. SubhanAllah. You look at this, and suddenly you understand how small we are, how limited we are and how infinitely Great Allah ﷻ is. “Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth are signs for those who reflect.” (Qur’an 3:190) This isn’t just knowledge, it’s a reminder. A reminder that the One who created all of this sees you, hears you, and knows you. Ya Allah, increase us in humility and strengthen our iman.

Last year, the Tinubu government spent only N36 million on capital health infrastructure for 200 million Nigerians. Yet, between 2024 and 2025, N34 billion was spent on presidential travel. If this is success, what does failure look like?

PRESS STATEMENT 29-03-2026 RESIGNATION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY (NNPP) I wish to formally announce my resignation from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) with immediate effect. I seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude for the honour and privilege of serving as the Party’s National Leader and its Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections. As a committed and bonafide member of the party, this was not an easy decision to make. However, considering the current trajectory of the nation’s political landscape, which calls for strategic realignment, I have found it necessary to identify with another political platform that offers the best opportunity to effectively change the nation. I extend my deepest appreciation to the National Chairman, Ajuji Ahmed and the entire National Working Committee for their steadfast support throughout my time. I also thank the Board of Trustees, the National Executive Committee, and all levels of leadership across the party — from the ward to the state level, as well as the legacy members of the party and all followers of the Kwankwasiyya Movement for their dedication and commitment to our shared mission. We shall continue to collaborate and work together towards charting a better and more prosperous future for our dear nation. Signed, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE Former Kano State Governor, 2023 Presidential Candidate, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)

I saw this video as soon as Rinu posted it and my initial reaction was to criticise these Nigerians who are selling their future for as little as 2,000 Naira. But I needed to quickly step out to buy fuel, and the first thing I noticed was how hot the sun is. It occurred to me that I have not had any reason to open my curtains or step outside since morning. Not having to hustle during the weekend after going to work the whole week is a privilege that many Nigerians do not have. In the 15 to 20 minutes that it took me to get fuel and return to my house, I saw no fewer than 5 women and children hawking different items like pepper, frozen fish, and cold drinks in the hot sun. While I complained about the sun, they had no alternative but to be in it if they must survive. It again occurred to me that I can afford to buy at least 10,000 Naira worth of fuel at a go while these hawkers struggle to make 1,000 Naira a day in profit, and if someone offered them 2,000 just to sing the praises of politicians, they would gladly do so. I got home and put my generator on, and as I sit now typing this tweet, it has again occurred to me that those hawkers that I saw definitely do not have generators at home, and will suffer from the same heat that I can afford to prevent. Although I knew that I was more privileged than some Nigerians, juxtaposing my lifestyle side by side with those of the hawkers made me realise how privileged I am. My point is that it is easy to judge these people from our privileged vantage points, but we must recognise that many Nigerians are victims of a system which is working efficiently to keep them poor and unproductive so that they can sell their future for as little as 2,000 Naira. Conclusively, we should be more favourable in our criticism of them.
