This new BlueRoom takes our medical training to the next level. The experience this technology provides to our aviators is vitally important, particularly when our Air Force medical professionals can be called into any situation at a moment’s notice. @RAAF_ACWOFF

One of the favourite parts of my job is being able to meet with aviators within Air Command. Last week, I visited RAAF Bases Townsville and Scherger to meet with members of 27 Squadron, Combat Survival Training School, 65 Air Base Recovery Squadron, 383 Squadron and 452 Squadron.

We’ve been engaging with Australia’s youth through Legacy; graduating our newest aviators into Air Force; flying alongside our partners in the region; and supporting the spirit of Invictus by transporting our athletes.

Over the last month, aviators across Air Command have been kicking goals! Here’s some of my favourite photos that demonstrate the wide range of activities we have been participating in.

Welcome home to our Combat Support Group personnel who deployed on Exercise TALISMAN SABRE 23. Congratulations on your achievements over the last two months, supporting the activities and getting home safely.

This week, I travelled to Thailand to meet with my Royal Thai Air Force counterpart and open Exercise Thai Boomerang together. I also had the opportunity to brief their Armed Forces on the Defence Strategic Review. It’s great to see our Air Forces working and training together!

In Jul 23, we extended a warm welcome to the @AusAirForce for the RSAF-RAAF Air Working Group (AWG)! The delegation was led by RAAF Air Commander Australia, Air Vice-Marshal (AVM) Glen 'Blitz' Braz. The AWG was co-chair by AVM Braz and Chief of Staff - Air Staff, BG Chan.

Our sympathies and condolences go to the family, friends and teammates of Captain Danniel Lyon, Lieutenant Maxwell Nugent, Warrant Officer Class Two Joseph Laycock and Corporal Alexander Naggs. We will honour the legacy of these men each day in our aviation community.

On behalf of Air Command, we honour the courage and bravery of the four men who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country during flight.

We discussed the long enduring Australia-Singapore partnership, and I look forward to building upon this in the future!

This week the 🇮🇩🇦🇺 Safety and Airworthiness Joint Working Group meets in 🇮🇩 to further cooperation and receive guidance from the 🇮🇩 Chief of Air Force, ACM TNI Fadjar Prasetyo. Our joint program focuses on developing a culture of safety and airworthiness for our two Air Forces.
