Hello #embryriddledaytona students! Before you head off for #springbreak there's a workshop you should know about! #RAER is teaming up with Career Services to help students prep for the career expo! Join us for elevator pitches, resume building, and general preparedness tips!

The #RAER teams #SUAS and #IGVC have been making great progress on their projects. The airframe for SUAS is near completion and IGVC did some preliminary testing for swapping to a white case to combat an overheating issue, and were already seeing a 6°C decrease in internal temps!

The #RAER semester is in full swing here at #embryriddledaytona! Teams are making progress on their projects and we've started a new one of our own. To help our members build up their skills for the workplace we have begun having workshops. This weekend we tackled ROS programming

With the new year flying by us already, we have an announcement! #RobotX returned from Australia VICTORIOUS! The Maritime Challenge 2022 Champions! A huge thanks to @yamahaoutboards for getting RobotX to Australia. Without #yamahaoutboards we would not have been able to compete

G'day mate! #RobotX and #Minion are in the land down under competing at the Maritime RobotX Challenge! They've been sending some sweet photos to us here at #embryriddledaytona And #congratulations to them for qualifying for the #semifinals GOOOOOO MINION!!!

Our #nasarmc is making lots of progress this week! The rover itself is on track to be fully built by the end of the semester, and the electrical and software teams are working to get us operational! Interested? Stop by the #RAER lab! We'll be here until 4pm! #embryriddledaytona

Our #SUAS team made some excellent progress in the last week. Glued together the main body of the frame, mounted the vertical motor mounts, and added motors onto the folding mounts! Interested in helping further? They'll be in the #RAER lab at 6pm! #embryriddledaytona

The #nasarmc team is hard at work in the #RAER lab today! Putting together the frame, working in the mining implement, and plenty of learning about our electronics and software programs. Stop by the lab on Saturdays from 2-4pm to join in! #embryriddledaytona

We would like to thank @torcrobotics for stopping by our lab on Tuesday to give a presentation on what it would be like to work for them. There was so much to learn, and great connections to make as they've hired previous #RAER alums. Hopefully we'll be sending students your way!

#womeninstematerau Izzy Halphen is a junior studying Mechanical Engineering. She is on the mechanical team for RoboSub. She currently is in an internship with VSFS as a web-scraper/python developer. She is very proud to say that her research team has been published by the AIAA.

#womeninstematerau Abigail Butka is a senior studying Computer Engineering and a first semester Electrical Engineering Master's student. She is the NSF team lead, but has also participated in numerous other air, water, and underwater robotics competitions since middle school.

#womeninstematerau Eshna Bhargava is a freshman studying Aerospace Engineering. They are a software team member for RoboBoat. They are currently the Assistant Public Relations Officer for the International Student Programming Council and the next Secretary of the SWE.

#womeninstematerau Aisyah Ariff is a junior studying AE and minoring in Space Studies & Applied Maths.She is a mechanical member of NASA RMC. She has participated in multiple robot and model rocketry competitions back in her home country, Malaysia.

#WomenInSTEMatERAU Andressa Ojeda is a sophomore studying Aerospace Engineering. She is a mechanical member for NASA RMC. She was invited to do Project PoSSUM as a Scientist-Astronaut Candidate, and worked as an Research Assistant studying fuel sloshing for the Mathematics Dept.

#WomenInSTEMatERAU Meet Isabella DeLorenzo, RAER’s President! She is a freshman studying Engineering Physics. She has a SpaceX internship this summer, is a WiDE lab researcher, and is on the fundraising committee for SWE.

Meet Hasan Akpunar, our Vice-President and RoboSub team lead! He is a junior studying Aerospace Engineering with a focus on astronautics. Additionally Hasan is minoring in computer science and hopes to one day design spacecraft that will help with the exploration of Mars.
