The Association were saddened to hear of the passing of Brian “BJ” Jones . BJ came onto TSW as ops Flight Sergeant in the mid eighties . A well liked figure and a true leader. The saying “The man, The myth , The Legend’ Has never been so apt. Our thoughts are with his family.

A remembrance service to mark the 35th anniversary since the end of hostilities in the Gulf was held yesterday at the @Nat_Mem_Arb. To remember the '47 fallen' and all those still suffering and affected today.

The late Ron Hodgson - Funeral Arrangements Ron's funeral booked for 11th February at 10.00 at Margate Crematorium CT9 4LY then on to QRRA clubhouse Homestall Rd Faversham ME1 OSE The Crematorium is quite small with limited seating .

On this day in 1991, Operation Granby The Gulf War was triggered when dictator Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait on 2/8/90. Between 17 January and 28 February 1991, the coalition lost 392 brave service personnel, among them 47 British soldiers. @TacticalSupWing

The Association were saddened to hear of the passing of Ron Hodgson , “Big Ron” to those of us who served with him on the wing. Ron served on TSW in the early 1980’s and was a stalwart of the camp rugby team . A gentle giant of a man who will be missed by all. RIP Ron
