Baseball is a funny game. Kyle Schwarber had a great day yesterday in a doubleheader sweep of the Giants, going 5-for-6 with 2 doubles, 2 homers, 3 RBIs, 3 walks and 0 strikeouts. He struck out five times in five at-bats tonight. First Phillie to do that since Nick Castellanos last April.

For those wondering, last time the Phillies had 2 walk-off wins on same day was July 24, 1998. Both came in 12 innings vs. Marlins. Scott Rolen walk-off 2-run HR in Game 1. Rico Brogna walk-off 1B in G2. Ruben Amaro Jr. (in booth tonight) had game-tying HR in 12th inning of G2.

@MamaL3E Casty did make some very good plays in RF for the Phillies. But he neither has the foot speed nor the arm strength to remotely compare to Garcia

@RAJr_20 With all due respect, what makes Garcia different in RF vs. Casty is the quick release. Go back in 2022, how many hits Casty saved in RF during the first playoff round. I 🫶🏽 baseball. And btw Garcia is one of my favorite players too. For me, Casty was not the problem.
