The exterior of the Trust’s house in Kensington – Dr Anderson’s former home – was covered with scaffolding for several months over the summer while extensive repairs were carried out to the stonework, window frames, drainage and so on. It now looks as good as new!

Robert had worked with Bryan Emery himself at Saqqara in the 1950s and was by this time Honorary Secretary of the EES. The image is part of the collection of the late Martin Davies, the Society’s honorary legal advisor, who was probably the photographer. Thank you Aidan! (2/)
