The man who's main priority is protecting people, keeps someone who can singlehandedly commit genocide alive and doesn't even add a kill switch just in case. Blatant bad writing

Debbie getting back together with Nolan isn't *just* unrealistic, but it goes against everything her character stands for

That's why instead he's seeking atonement, because what he's done can never be undone, but he can still thrive to be a better person and do good.

Thats a reason why I love Endeavor's character so much, there's no forgiveness or redemption for someone who beats his wife and children and drives one-

But Debbie is supposed to be smart and have self respect, and her getting back together with the man who absolutely brutalized her son makes no sense
