With the income from @RohingyaMakzin reinvested into the production of the next issue, and the initiative run on an entirely non-profit basis, an unobstructed reflection of Rohingya refugee life is enabled. 🧵

1.1 million Rohingya refugees live in refugee camps in south-eastern Bangladesh, forcefully displaced by human rights violations by Myanmar’s military. Kutupalong refugee camp, located in the coastal district of Cox's Bazar, is considered the largest refugee camp in the world. 🧵

@RohingyaMakzin touches on various themes from love and hope to grief, depicting everyday life in Cox’s Bazar, “Our objective is to highlight our crisis, to show the international community that genocide and persecution is still going on even without publicity” (Sahat Zia Hero).
