MIDWEST/WEST REGION! 7 of 8 top seeds advance, #23 Virginia Tech upsets #10 Portland State & #7 Oregon advancing to the Elite 8. #2 Sacramento State makes a run to the Final 4. #3 USC & #6 UC Santa Cruz meet up in the Elite 8, and Santa Cruz advances in a high scoring game.
