Clashes broke out as demonstrators threw Molotov cocktails at Prime Minister Edi Rama’s office in Tirana, ministry buildings, and police vehicles, prompting officers to respond using tear gas and a water cannon.
The protest follows corruption allegations against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. He denies the accusations.

A mob in Surdulica, Serbia is targeting an innocent Albanian bakery owner, his wife, and their children day and night, after his young cousin was involved in an accident for which he has already been arrested. The mob is mobilizing, sharing anti-Albanian messages and calling for the family’s expulsion through social media and a large group chat. A Serbian government minister is part of the group chat. The bakery owner stated that his children are traumatized. They constantly ask him why they can't go to school. The mob is also stalking the bakery’s Serbian customers and publishing their photos within the group to intimidate them.
