Thank you to everyone who joined us at our recent Open Night. Guests were welcomed by Professor Curly Morris and heard research updates from Fionnuala Petticrew, Hayley McMillan and Lisa Crawford. We loved the opportunity to catch up with friends and welcome new supporters.

Minister Muir met with Discover Groomsport members to explore ways to protect the nesting Arctic Tern population on Cockle Island. He and @NationalTrustNI representatives & Peter Martin MLA discussed potential actions to monitor the seabirds during the upcoming breeding season.

Today we're saying a massive well done and thank you to Eddie Robinson who completed the Tokyo marathon in memory of his good friend Simon Robinson. His efforts were well worth it as he has raised over £3,000 for blood cancer research and ensures Simon's legacy lives on.

Our marine areas are amazing - home to so many of our most loved species like dolphins, seals & puffins! The launch of my new strategy at Castle Espie is an important milestone as we work to better manage these habitats for nature, our climate and those who depend on our seas.
