A significant day as Commissioner @NStottDespoja officially delivers her report to Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC. The Commissioner thanks and acknowledges everyone who contributed to the report, in particular those with lived and living experience.

Today @RCDFSV_SA published more than 250 submissions from individuals and organisations wanting to share their interactions and experiences within South Australia’s domestic, family and sexual violence systems. Details: bit.ly/3ZQ44YD

An important listening session this week with the Seeds of Affinity team, hearing from women on the issues they face when released from prison, including accessing safe accommodation, the difficulties navigating the system and the importance of DV counselling & support.

The @RCDFSV_SA Commissioner @NStottDespoja was privileged to be part of last week’s FVLSAC Sista2Sista event in Whyalla. Such a great experience to observe the empowering and educative session, where the young women were given practical advice in a safe, supported way.

That completes our Public Hearings, which has included 10 Public Hearings before Commissioner @NStottDespoja, with 64 witnesses called over 48 sessions. Public consultation has now closed. We now focus on delivering our report in July. bit.ly/4j3yzkZ
