The Canadian Taxpayers Federation has revealed that Carney spent over $500,000 on airplane food last year. That's more than the average family will spend on groceries in 30 years!!!
Carney spends even MORE on airplane food
Prime Minister Mark Carney and his entourage billed you for half a million dollars on airplane food in one year.
Loyal readers of the Taxpayer Waste Watch will remember our story about Carney spending more money on airplane food than former prime minister Justin Trudeau.
Well, we have some new numbers for you. And they’re bad…
Carney and his entourage spent $524,100 on airplane food in one year, according to government documents obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.
That’s more than an average Canadian family will spend on groceries in 30 years.
Carney and his entourage billed taxpayers $159,000 for airplane food during a week-long trip to Athens, Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg and the Canary Islands.
Carney also billed you $94,000 on airplane food during a trip to Italy in 2025. That’s more than double what Trudeau spent on airplane food during his trip to Italy the year before.
Even when Trudeau spent $220,000 on airplane food during a trip to the Indo-Pacific, the cost worked out to $4,200 per hour. That’s still less than Carney spent on his trip to Italy.
Carney spent $21,158 on airplane food during a three-hour roundtrip to Washington D.C. That’s $7,000 per hour on airplane food.
Carney and crew also spent $60,000 on airplane food during a visit to Paris and London, and $50,000 during a trip to Belgium and the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, other politicians and bureaucrats are proving it is possible to spend less while travelling abroad.
Former defence minister Bill Blair took an international trip last year. Blair’s delegation spent just $2,350 on airplane food during the entire 12-day trip.
The government’s chief of defence staff went to Washington, D.C., with members of the Canadian Armed Forces last March. They billed taxpayers zero dollars for airplane food, according to government records.
Franco’s note: The government told you it would cut down on these extravagant international trips but spending half a million dollars on airplane food doesn’t exactly scream fiscal responsibility.

$51 MILLION MORE FOR FUCKING UKRAINE?
Anybody else want to start seeing some receipts?
Seriously.
I want to know where every single fucking penny has gone.
If they can’t produce the receipts, All aid should IMMEDIATELY stop and IMMEDIATE repayment should start.
THIS MONEY LAUNDERING OPERATION NEEDS TO END.

🚨 Canada 2026: The "Full Receipt" 🇨🇦
- Ukraine Aid: $26 Billion+
- Fed Deficit: $78 Billion
- Food Bank Visits: 2.2 Million/mo
- Child Poverty: 1.4 Million kids
- Youth Jobless: 12.8%
- OSAP Grants: Slashed by 60%
We aren't "out of money"..
We are out of respect for the Canadian taxpayer. 💁🏻♂️

Canada's total support to Ukraine tops $26 billion since 2022. Our healthcare system is in shambles. We have to cut OSAP to low income students. Senior poverty rate has increased. Yet no protest on the streets, no pressure on MPs to stop this nonsense. This is happening because Canadian tax payers allow it to happen. #cdnpoli

🚨🇨🇦 The math of the "Carney Era" is terrifying. 🚩
Federal Deficit: $78 BILLION
Ukraine Aid: $25.5 BILLION
We are effectively borrowing 1/3 of our total deficit to fund a war overseas while 2 million Canadians are hitting food banks and gas is $2.0/L.
This isn’t "leadership"…
it’s a betrayal of the Canadian taxpayer. 🛑🇨🇦

🚨🇨🇦 April 1st: The day the jokes write themselves.
✅ Industrial Carbon Tax: Hits $110/tonne.
✅ Payroll Taxes: CPP & EI contributions max out again.
✅ Alcohol Tax: Up another 2%.
While 480 million people next door watch from the sidelines,
Canadians are told these "sacrifices" are saving the planet.
Who actually believes this anymore?

The South Pars gas field was struck by Israel and has been destroyed.
So glad we banned plastic straws in Canada.

This is absolutely insane:
The world is quite literally facing what appears to be the largest energy crisis in history.
US crude oil futures are now trading at a $20+/barrel DISCOUNT to Brent, also one of the largest on record.
As the US increases production and taps into reserves, the EU is facing a full out energy crisis.
European natural gas prices are up another +30% today and physical crude oil prices in Oman and elsewhere are trading at $150+/barrel.
In other words, the gap between Oman and US prices now stands at ~70%, or ~$70+ per barrel.
It has become so bad for Europe that the market is now pricing-in 2 interest rate HIKES in 2026, even as the US removes sanctions on Russian oil.
US rate cuts in 2026 are almost entirely priced-out as a result with Core PPI inflation on PRE-WAR data rising to its highest since February 2023.
The entire global economy just took a complete 180 degree turn in 3 weeks.
The next few months are going to be historic.

🚨🇨🇦 PM Carney: “Carbon tax will make Canadian steel leapfrog the world.”
Reality:
🇨🇦 Canada: $80/tonne
🇺🇸 USA: $0
🇨🇳 China: $0
This isn’t “leapfrogging.”
It’s pushing your own industry off a cliff.
They’re leaving. 📉🇨🇦
