We had a heated conversation at my facility today. Our senior most medical officer who is often available and takes most of the emergency cases has raised a petition to stop taking cases. He says he is not a member of any surgical college and performing surgeries is not part of his job. I support him fully. I hope nationwide all doctors who aren't fellows of the colleges of surgeons stop performing all surgeries both major and minor. I support him because doctors are now getting sued anyhow. If you are an MO, you may think you're helping people with your skills but I just learned MBBS alone gives you no right to perform any major surgery. PLS DO NOT GO BEYOND YOUR BOUNDARIES. If you get sued for medical negligence in case of complications, nobody will remember the hundred lives you've saved in the past, you'll lose your license and likely do jail. Always remember to refer the case if it's beyond what you can handle. Just my two cents. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Some of the worst tweets I've ever seen on here are coming from friends and family of that Romario guy
