I am excited to share that I have been awarded a @USDA_NIFA predoctoral fellowship! This grant will support my research @ukybiology into the genetic and developmental basis of adaptive ovipositor traits. Stay tuned for some big things to come!

@evodevoclaire Good news is a default wouldn’t result in a government shutdown as the appropriations process is separate from the debt ceiling fight. The federal fiscal year runs through Sept/Oct so no risk of parks closing in June!

One of my students was denied the @NSF GRF this year by virtue of being deemed ineligible because they took a one-week bootcamp prior to starting grad school and it showed up as a summer "class" on their transcript. Seems this could affect many applicants. Be aware! #NSFGRFP
