Bank Holiday weekend saw 30 pupils successfully complete their Silver @DofENorth award in Yorkshire. They behaved impeccably, showed great teamwork and sheer determination to succeed despite the ever-changing weather. Mrs Vaughan & Mr Knowles are very proud of their achievements.
In school today we held our annual @deanerycareers Y10 Speedy Careers Event. The event worked by giving small groups of students a 5-minute window to ask each employer a series of questions about their job and career path, before they move on to the next business representative.
KS3 pupils today visited the University of Manchester to learn about future opportunities including higher education and university life
A new trophy for the cabinet! We are so proud of our team of Year 10s who have just been crowned Wigan Inter-School Challenge winners for the third year in a row. Thank you to @wiganleighcol for hosting a wonderful event.
