Had I authored a book about Obbo Lencho’s historic role and enduring legacy, I would have titled it: “LENCHO LETA: The Intellectual Spearhead of the Oromo Struggle.” Yet “Life of Struggle”, the title chosen by Zufan Urga, beautifully captures the journey, sacrifice, vision, and unwavering commitment of one of the greatest intellectual figures of the Oromo national movement. The Oromo nation owes gratitude to Zufan Urga for taking on the important task of documenting the life and legacy of this intellectual giant for current and future generations. I encourage everyone to attend the book release event, celebrate this important work, and honor a man whose ideas helped shape the course of Oromo political consciousness and struggle.
