Its main objective is to conduct the largest GWAS to date on cardiovascular disease in this population and improve predictions of cardiovascular incidence, using genomic and clinical data.

The research included 3,127 adults with 6-year follow-up data. The results indicate that people taking antidepressants show a higher weight gain than those not taking them, with this increase being approximately of 2%.

La investigación ha incluído 3.127 personas adultas que se han seguido durante 6 años. Los resultados indican que las personas que toman antidepresivos muestran un incremento de peso más elevado que las que no los toman, siendo este incremento de aproximadamente un 2%.
