Calling all Namibian Youth interested in Renewable Energy & Green Hydrogen! 📣 The Namibian Youth for Green Hydrogen Scholarship Programme has been established to facilitate capacity building for the emerging Green Hydrogen industry 🎉

The safety course for Medium Voltage access and switching commenced this morning in Windhoek. The training, organised by REIAoN for its members, as well as a few external participants, includes a practical session of work and exposure on all MV switchgear and Transformers.

Hon. Tom Alweendo gave a statement at the Nam International Energy Conference yesterday.Conference is dedicated to enhancing collaboration, knowledge, and investments between stakeholders to drive a greater understanding of the RE landscape as a catalyst for socio-economic dev.

The Green People's Energy Project was officially launched under the Solar Revolving Fund of the Ministry of Mines & Energy. The objective of the project is to strengthen the renewable energy sector with a focus on promoting offgrid electrification, in rural areas.

REIAoN attended the Proceed Project stakeholder engagement this morning. The overall objective of this project is to improve access to sustainable and reliable electricity in rural areas.

REIAoN members attended the Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation Workshop held in Windhoek recently for the presentation of the results of the draft National Integrated Resource Plan (NIRP) 2022.
