Carole hummed softly as she poured coffee into a mug for him. Her gaze drifting over towards him. “Well you know you are always welcomed here, always. Make yourself at home.”

“I know you would’ve, I’m just glad you’ve stopped by. It’s good to see you.” She spoke soft and offered a small smile. “Can I get you any tea or coffee?”

Carole nodded briefly and then stepped aside, motioning for him to come inside of the house. “ I understand. Everyone gets busy.” She murmured and then made her way towards the kitchen.

She had just finished doing dishes when she heard the knock on the door. Humming quietly, she walks over and pulls it open. “Long time no see, stranger.”
