It’s Picture Day at RES! We love seeing these gorgeous smiles our Rockets have today! 📸 💜 🚀

Each grade level has a career strand they focus on in Mrs. Burnett’s SPACE class. 2nd graders learn about agriculture careers and these Rockets enjoyed weeding the garden beds this morning. Dirty hands = happy kids! 😉

Mrs. Lane’s students tasted a variety of apples today. Students compiled a list of describing words for red, green, and yellow apples and chose their favorites. They all agreed 💚 🍏 are sour, 💛 apples are soft, and ❤️ 🍎 are the sweetest. These faces are pretty sweet too 😉

Mrs. Holland's students love their daily read aloud time - currently, Mrs. Holland is reading Because of Winn-Dixie. The conversation around what was happening in the book was SO GOOD and they can't wait to know what happens next 💜 📚

Mrs. Trexler’s students loved writing her characteristics on sticky notes and then covering her up with them! A few we noticed: “kind”, “pretty”, “blond hair”, and “she loves us” - we agree 💜 @amanda_trexler

Mrs. Kepley’s students used Nearpod for the first time today! Students loved this super interactive way of learning their social studies standard and showing the community around them 🗺️ 💜

Mrs. Eagle's students enjoy a read aloud of Peter Reynold's book The Dot today. This book encourages students to "just make a mark and see where it takes you". We can't wait to see what these kiddos create when they let their inner artist take over! 🎨 💜 🚀

WELCOME Mr. Parsons *back* to RES as our brand new Social and Emotional Learning Coach! Mr. Parsons will be working with students to build leaders and develop character, as well as be the House Coach for our new House System!
