In case, as a Manchester United fan, you’ve forgotten how Rashford disrespected Manchester United because the club loaned him out. He posted this on his Instagram to mock Manchester United after getting a World Cup call up and winning La Liga with Barcelona. He’s a traitor. 😡

I’m seeing a lot of Manchester United fans challenging Marcus Rashford’s legendary status at the club and even seeing him in the same bracket as Jadon Sancho who I consider the worst business done by the club in recent history. It’s laughable honestly, because sentiments aside he’s actually earned the legendary status if not that he made it his goal to throw it away when that interview dropped, perhaps it is the sole reason many United fans can’t just accept the possibility of him returning to the club this season. I know it’s not in my power but I don’t want him back and it is not for sporting reasons alone, because at 29 he should be able to offer something valuable, I mean we were all celebrating the signing of 29yo Tielemans the other day so why not Rashford too, I think he’s got one or two to offer. But I look at other reasons therefore making me arrive at the conclusion that the negatives he’ll bring will outweigh the positives. I mean look at how divided the fanbase are over the news of his imminent reintegration, that’s a sign right there it’s probably not the best way to go for the club. Sorry I digress too much, Marcus Rashford is a United legend, the word isn’t just thrown around because we feel like it, it’s in the club’s official website under the legends category, look at his debuts across several competitions too scoring in almost all of it, academy boy, top 13 goalscorer in the club’s history, inherited Wayne Rooney’s number 10 jersey, Europa league title with Mourinho(our most successful manager post Fergie, credit to Rashford’s contribution), FA Cups, Carabao, and couple of runner up finishes in the league. I know we like to banter or be sentimental but it doesn’t really fly here with him considering there are things that back up his legendary status. And don’t forget I still don’t want him back and maybe it’s the hurt the periods of him playing like he doesn’t care at times coupled with that interview, and the subsequent twerking he did for 18 yo Yamal and Barcelona that’s speaking here but the man is a LEGEND in my honest book and the club’s own.
