@brantleywrites I explained this to people in a class I taught yesterday 🤣 I was like "you made a character and wrote that character. Other people did the same. And you just went paragraph by paragraph." Im still not sure they understood tbh.

ok y'all. how would YOU explain to someone that you grew up writing via roleplay/rpgs? not fantasy. real life themed. small towns, murders, etc. I wrote a character and collabed with other people, a lot like d&d. do I stick with the d&d analogy? thoughts pls!

It really was such an insane honor to sit among these incredibly talented agents and editors this weekend. I am so grateful to know them all a little better, and still a little mind blown by the entire experience. What an insanely educational and gratifying weekend.

Atlanta Writer's Conference Day 2! The coolest thing for me so far has been getting to chat and to network with Big 5/Sourcebooks editors in person, but also there have been so many talented pitches and critiques!

Anyways, here is the vibe for today. Actually it's the vibe for every day.

What does have to change, is the way I interact with Social Media moving forward. I'll be around, because I love the community at large. But my presence will be limited mainly to pictures of my dog, pitch event participation, and non publishing related whoknowswhat. Hugs and Love

and with the goal of being a fierce advocate. It kills me that my words where received in a way that contradicts that desire. In ALL aspects of life, my goal is kindness and light and love. It has always been. It will always be. That will never change.
